Konferencen undersøger, hvordan skoleledelse kan bruge eTwinning i strategisk skoleudvikling. Konferencen består af faglige oplæg og en række workshops, der giver deltagerne lejlighed til erfaringsudveksling og videndeling om stærke lokalområder, livslang læring, åben skole, styrkelse af grundlæggende færdigheder, digital dannelse og demokratisk dannelse.

  • Leading for literacy, strengthening reading across the curriculum – exploring leadership strategies for embedding reading development into every subject area and promoting a reading culture throughout the school.
  • Making mathematics a whole-school priority – Discussing school-wide initiatives to raise numeracy levels, including how to support non-math teachers in reinforcing mathematical thinking.
  • Digital leadership for basic skills – Examining how school leaders can drive digital transformation that supports all learners in developing essential digital skills, while ensuring inclusion and responsible/ethical use.
  • Fostering scientific thinking across school life – Discovering how to integrate scientific reasoning, inquiry, and curiosity beyond science lessons, and how leaders can support this cross-curricular development.
  • A culture of citizenship, embedding citizenship education across the school – Learning how to promote democratic values, participation, and critical thinking through school-wide initiatives, including through eTwinning projects.
  • Professional learning communities: building staff capacity to teach basic skills – Exploring how school leaders can create collaborative structures that promote teacher learning, peer observation, and shared accountability in basic skill instruction.
  • Data-informed leadership: using assessment to drive whole-school improvements – Focussing on how to use internal and external assessment data effectively to identify learning needs, monitor progress, and inform strategic planning.
  • From policy to practice: aligning school development plans – Develop action plans that connect leadership priorities, school improvement policies, and classroom practice to support the teaching of basic skills.
  • eTwinning for basic skills designing collaborative projects with impact – Working with peers to co-create eTwinning project ideas that explicitly aim to strengthen basic skills through cross-curricular, international collaboration.
  • Strengthening teamwork for student success and building collaborative staff cultures – Investigating how to foster a culture of trust, shared responsibility, and effective communication among school staff to support the development of students’ basic skills across subjects.
  • Engaging families and communities in basic skills development – Exploring strategies for involving parents, local organizations, and community partners in reinforcing literacy, numeracy, and digital skills beyond the classroom.
  • Whole-school communication strategies for inclusive learning – Understanding how consistent, transparent, and inclusive communication between school leaders, staff, students, and families supports a shared vision for improving basic skills and learning outcomes.
