Context and concept
Topic: Digital Competences and IT Didactics
Digitalisation is one of the most current topics in today’s world. Digitalisation is going to affect all parts of life and is gaining increasing importance in education. Therefore it is crucial for teachers to get involved in IT didactics and become “digitally fit”.
This PDW will focus on the competences of teachers: What do the teachers need in order to be empowered to critically evaluate and apply digital media in the classroom? Which technical and pedagogical competences are needed? Which innovative methods and approaches can help to integrate digitalisation in schools?
These and other questions will be addressed during this PDW, primarily through practical workshops, visits to labs to explore classrooms of the future, and open communication with experts in the field.
Aims:
Demonstrate necessary digital competences for teachers
Provide knowledge and skills in the field of IT didactics
